Traffic Sources That You Should Never Use To Build Your Home Biz

By Joe Okoro

In building a home based business, many marketers have done practically everything to generate traffic to their websites in hope that it will give them quality website visitors that they need to take their businesses to the next level.

While desperation may be a good reason to look for possible ways to build and grow a home based business, there are traffic methods that anyone or marketer should not get into unless you want to suffer the consequences bitterly.

- Traffic Exchange.

The traffic exchange program is a hits membership website where you sign up to view other people's websites in exchange for others to view yours.

I have been involved in traffic switch before and I realize that 10,000 contacts to my website did not produce any subscriber for my newsletter. This unnecessary gamble took away my precious time. In any case, I did not really squander the time, it made me to know that this is another way that leads to disappointment and is time-wasting.

- Purchasing E-mail Lists

At times, offers may come to you to purchase e-mail catalogues of those who have subscribed to business openings before; I want to enlighten you that this is another time wasting venture because it won't translate this list to a pleasant email list for you.

Since the people never subscribed to your own information, mailing them is tantamount to spamming. It doesn't work.

Classified Adverts

Several specialized advert sites may ask you to give them some certain amount in order to place your ad on their websites. Even as I am not against this particular system, note that most specialized adverts are not worth it. Your advert may be there and you will never get any response.

Nevertheless, traffic that work exists if you are interested. - 15478
