e mail marketing

By Rick Freeman

Unfortunately, most people are unlikely to revisit your web page without a compelling reason. No doubt, the impulsive nature of our surfing habits make it difficult to remember exactly which pages we have visited. By leaving the website and not returning, each visitor takes away the money they could spend on your website, which is devastating even if you have 1,000 people a day coming to your site. Making customers from those visitors is something that you could have accomplished. The bottom line is that your visitor may not come back to your website again unless you convince them to join your mailing list!

Creating unique content is a helpful factor, but it is not the only solution. The only long-term solution to the problem of attracting repeat visitors is by getting visitors to subscribe to your mailing list. Though many visitors may not make a purchase on your website, they will still consider signing up for you mailing list if you have a simple opt-in. Email addresses and names are gathered on the opt-in form.

Your mailing list will allow you to follow up with your subscribers through email. You can get your subscriber to consider your offer, or endorse another offer to him or her. By getting as many visitors as you can to subscribe, you will increase your pool of potential customers and profit.

If you truly want to increase your subscribers, you should try building a list. The web is full of popular article directories, one of which is eZine articles, where people write and submit articles on a variety of topics.

Many enjoy the fruits of this viral marketing through article writing. It allows you to prove your worth by demonstrating your business expertise in your articles.

Mailing lists grow through the use of the resource box that is attached to the article. This tool, also called a bio box, should include information about you, such as what your site is about, and the URL of your site. The URL you include should send visitors to the place on your website where they can sign up for your mailing list in order to maximize the size of your mailing list.

Presuming your articles are worth sharing, eZine will republish them and expose your resource box to many potential subscribers. Viral marketing doesn't get much easier than that. As long as you include the appropriate details with your articles, this easy method should be effective. - 15478
