Giving Away What You Can Spare, Might Give Life To Another.

By Tom O

Being succesful in life and having every wish fulffilled is the dream that everyone that I have ever known strives for. Trips, vacations, nice food, resteraunts, and loving family are what we all enjoy in life. To keep the balance however, giving back is an important fact of life.

This balance can be achieved in the form of donations to the poor and the needy through charitable organizations and events. Easier said than done, fixing the amount you want to give back,it is such a difficult thing to do, because, you cannot compromise too much on your lifestyle to make this balance.

Donating is just like planning a vacation, or buying an engagement ring. All you have to do is plan ahead. First, ensure that you can afford to give money to others, and continue with the same facilities that you now enjoy.

One way of doing this properly is to have a savings account just for charity money. Keeping your current lifestyle in mind, see how much you can spare into this account every month. If you have a budget to follow, then see if you can squeeze this amount, however small it is, on a regular basis.

Once you've decided to save money, you have to start looking for a place to give it to. Without making this decision, your savings cannot be put to any use. Make sure that the organization you choose is genuine. Look into several organizations, particularly on the Internet, before making a final choice.

Keep a cause in mind before you choose to give. An act of charity done for something you most love and care, will give you immense satisfaction. If you love animals, then join other animal lovers at the Humane society, or Peta. You'll be happy knowing how many creatures you saved.

Well, if giving to others is a good deed indeed, it is also essential that you keep your own family provided for. Invest in yourself, in the form of stocks and time shares. This way, you are not just providing for your family, but keeping them secure for many generations.

By deciding how much you can spare, you've accomplished your choice in bringing balance to your life. Take a small share of your salary to give away. But don't do it at the cost of all that you've worked for to attain. The money you save can be donated periodically to the organization of your choice. Just that, never try to use this account as a back-up for your financial needs. Follow all this, and you'll be giving yourself some good karma in return. - 15478
