The VooDoo Lounge Rio Hotel and Casino - Experience Las Vegas from the 51st Floor

By VegasNightClubVIP.com

The Voodoo Lounge resides on the 51st story of the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. As you near the doors to the elevator for the Voodoo Lounge you experience the hustle and bustle on the casino floor in the Masquerade Village section of the hotel.

As a result of the Voodoo Lounge being one of the more popular lounges in Las Vegas a line typically forms to ride the elevator up to the top floor of the Rio hotel tower. To avoid the line just flash a Las Vegas VIP club or line pass and you can board the elevator at once without a wait.

If you happen to get caught in line you can always check out the menu posted on the walls for the VooDoo Steak restaurant which is located one story beneath the lounge itself. The inside section of the Voodoo Lounge can be accessed from the Voodoo restaurant by a huge staircase that connects the 50th and 51st stories.

The elevator actually climbs up the building on the outside and has a wide glass window from which you can get a glimpse of the South end of the Las Vegas Strip as you make your accent. The elevator ride itself is a pleasant time especially if you are with a good group.

As you exit the elevator, you have a brief walk through a dim hallway that is illuminated with black light by what can best be described as voodoo-like artwork hanging on the walls. Once inside the club the candle themed decor gives a sense that voodoo magic is being performed by the bartenders as they concoct their potions before delivering them to the visitors.

The inside of the voodoo lounge features a stage for live band performers. There is not really a dedicated dance floor but visitors typically for the most part create their own dance floor in their booths or wherever need be. There is even a stripper pole used as part of the decor.

However, the outdoor patio area of the club is where the voodoo fascination begins. First there is a fantastic view of the entire Las Vegas Strip and at night it is breathtaking. You can pull up a VIP couch and a nice beverage then just unwind and take in the views. The exterior area of the Voodoo Lounge Rio has a bar and a DJ spinning top 40 or hip-hop to keep things moving.

The lounge is not frequented by any particular age group and anyone can visit without feeling out of place or uncomfortable. In you are in the market for a fun and relaxing evening where you can enjoy a couple of voodoo magic potions, the Voodoo Lounge at the Rio will not disappoint. - 15478
