Using PLR to Start a Blog

By Rick W Freeman

You in all likelihood know that by owning a blog it adds value to your internet site, but maybe you are not much of a productive writer or just do not have the time to devote to it. There's a way to realize the benefits of a blog without having to commit to it a great deal.

On what is accessible online these days, you can buy anything from just one, to loads of sets of PLR articles to use as content for your blog.

Of course you are going to need to find PLR articles that will fit in with your niche and marketing ends but that should not be hard to do. The subjects covered by PLR articles are almost limitless.

When you have found and bought a set of PLR articles, do not post them right away. The idea of a blog is to post quality content on a regular basis. You will have to decide, based on time and the number of articles you have available, how often each week is regular.

You may well choose to post a few times a week or only even once, either method is ok as long as you stick by it. Once you've assembled a good following of steady reviewers, they will carry on to visit as long as there are some worthwhile posts to read.

You will probably want to individualise and change each PLR article before you post it to your blog, for two reasons. The first is to ensure you are posting original content.

Private label rights content is meant to be altered and ideally you want your blog to be picked up by the search engines bots, So that this can happen you should alter at least between 20 and 50 percent of the content to make it fresh and also try to write it in the context of how you would write, as if you were writing an article from scratch. The 2nd reason to change the private label rights article is to try to make it blog friendly.

You will find that most blogs are written in a conversational form, where as nearly all PLR content isn't. It won't take much to alter it though, because the basic research has been done, and the idea is there for you to work with.

You could really like writing and don't want to use private label rights content, thats all ok. Although you don't want to use private label articles as the only means of your blog posts, they are still a favourable way to post at times when you might be away or not able to find the time to write. - 15478
